This meme is here to be used as a place to coordinate AUs. Everyone has family, friends, colleagues, people they knew in the past, neighbours, pets, and more.

Fill those relations of your character with other player characters!

The big advantage of having connected AUs is that you start into the game with existing CR. Branch out! We recommend using this chance to forge cross-canon pre-CR, which will then make any further CR easier - ties with canonmates will, in our experience, be forged quickly enough even with no pre-CR at all.

Feel free to comment here with a separate comment for any character you are planning on apping with some level of certainty (you don't need to be decided yet, but out of courtesy to your fellow players, please don't throw characters on here that you doubt you'll app - "probably yes"/"if I can get a good idea" is okay, "probably not"/"only if the stars align just right" isn't). Don't be shy about commenting around for prospective CR and plans on game start - though, of course, remember that plans will be tentative!

Pre-Incarnation: Q'uila Sunrise/Final Fantasy XIV
A short blurb about your character's AU: Sadie Moore is a Upper Sixth Student at Mossgate Sixth Form College. Her and her family are recent arrivals from London, moving back to Sadie's Dad's hometown to help care for her granddad who has taken ill recently. She has a twin brother, James, who is a hopeful candidate for Team GB's Sailing, a much more outgoing boy than Sadie who would much rather study for her A2 exams or go fossil hunting. Outside of hunting for rocks and fossils, Sadie much prefers to spend her time indoors, reading or playing video games. When not at school, she can normally be found at the local library or, on weekends, volunteering at the local animal centre.
Open/Wanted CR: Friends, teachers, any type of interaction is good really but be prepared for Sadie to be rather shy and soft-spoken at first.
Anything else? Animals are the quickest way to her heart. That and mutual nerd-outs.

Maybe class acquaintances. Sadie's taking Physics, Chemistry and Maths as her A Levels, if he's in any of those, if not maybe through a club or something?

If she likes to eat Italian food she could sometimes be eating at the independent restaurant where his owner works? He's sometimes around the guest areas to get pets and scraps.

Granted, he's also 27, so. =P

I think, given the right situation it is entirely possible for her and Walter to strike up conversation despite them both being very shy and the age difference :)

Depending on how long they've known each other, he may think of her as something like a sibling...

(His actual sister's not as shy, but being able to relate to Sadie helps.)

That could be quite sweet, Sadie's twin is very outgoing so she'd certainly be able to bond with Walter about being the shier sibling.
