This meme is here to be used as a place to coordinate AUs. Everyone has family, friends, colleagues, people they knew in the past, neighbours, pets, and more.

Fill those relations of your character with other player characters!

The big advantage of having connected AUs is that you start into the game with existing CR. Branch out! We recommend using this chance to forge cross-canon pre-CR, which will then make any further CR easier - ties with canonmates will, in our experience, be forged quickly enough even with no pre-CR at all.

Feel free to comment here with a separate comment for any character you are planning on apping with some level of certainty (you don't need to be decided yet, but out of courtesy to your fellow players, please don't throw characters on here that you doubt you'll app - "probably yes"/"if I can get a good idea" is okay, "probably not"/"only if the stars align just right" isn't). Don't be shy about commenting around for prospective CR and plans on game start - though, of course, remember that plans will be tentative!

Pre-Incarnation: Ickis/Aaahh Real Mosters

A short blurb about your character's AU:

Born in Mossgate, raised in America (primarily New York), and recently relocated back to Mossgate as his father tries to pick his acting career back up by taking a gig offered to him closer to his old home. Ikshu isn't all that happy to be dragged back to a place he barely remembers, not helped by the fact that his Dad picking his career back up means having to get used to getting by on his own again, at a point when he's already otherwise alone.

Because of that, the generally shy neurotic kid is starting to develop a bit of a rebellious streak, or at least an anxious worrywart version of rebellion. Basically, his grades are slipping (when they weren't that great, to begin with), he skips class on occasion and stays out late when he knows his Dad won't be around to catch him doing it. It's a bit of a sad attempt at rebellion really, but there you go.

Open/Wanted CR: Would love to get CR with teachers/school staff, students and fans of his father who can drive him nuts (he's mostly known for acting in campy horror movies, though not exclusively. Think Bruce Campbell or Jeff Goldblum kind of roles, but probably less well known since he'll have been out of the business for almost ten years at this point).

Anything else? I'm really looking forward to him interacting with anyone that can be either a really good or bad influence on him. Both options could be fun. On one hand, he could really use proper parental figures or really good friends. On the other hand, he's semi-sheltered and easily manipulated which could lead to hijinks.

On the one hand, there's a definite age gap. On the other... if Ickis ever shows an interest in IT/computer work and wants to bug him, that's an option.

Or they could go biking?? Walter's more the type to try for 'positive role model' than 'negative', though mostly he's just shy. >.>

I plan for him to have an interest in mechanics, particularly when it comes to prop building and I could definitively seem him going to Walter with programming questions for a more complex project that required some kind of automation (if Walter is interested in that kind of thing). And he can definitely use all the positive role models he can get!

While I'm not sure if that's the kind of programming Walter would start out learning, he'd be more than happy to pick it up for this. >.>

And she's the queen of bad ideas, I'm sure she can pull him into hijinks. I'm totally planning on having her ...borrow... a boat and try to go to the Sea Forts at some point.

Yes! I could see him flip-flopping between bad influence/enabler friend to mother-henning older bother she didn't ask for.

And he would totally be up for exploring the Sea Forts, and possibly helping with snagging a boat if he's not having one of his day's where he's set to panic mode.

Benjiro is a second year student at 6th Form, and he could easily be roped into tutoring Ikshu to address those failing grades. Beyond that, please befriend this reserved child. He doesn’t get out or explore without someone prodding him.

Yes, please! He could definitely use both a tutor and a friend and will be all for pulling Benjiro into situations with him. I'm also planning on him being interested in prop making and mechanics, with him being half self-taught and not fully understand all the ins and out of what he's doing. Maybe that's something else they could bond over?

That would make for excellent bonding time! Ben loves working with mechanics and he will accept just about any excuse to get his tools out. He isn’t very artistic, but he can still use a paint brush properly for large areas. Constructing furniture sort of props would be far easier for him.
