This meme is here to be used as a place to coordinate AUs. Everyone has family, friends, colleagues, people they knew in the past, neighbours, pets, and more.

Fill those relations of your character with other player characters!

The big advantage of having connected AUs is that you start into the game with existing CR. Branch out! We recommend using this chance to forge cross-canon pre-CR, which will then make any further CR easier - ties with canonmates will, in our experience, be forged quickly enough even with no pre-CR at all.

Feel free to comment here with a separate comment for any character you are planning on apping with some level of certainty (you don't need to be decided yet, but out of courtesy to your fellow players, please don't throw characters on here that you doubt you'll app - "probably yes"/"if I can get a good idea" is okay, "probably not"/"only if the stars align just right" isn't). Don't be shy about commenting around for prospective CR and plans on game start - though, of course, remember that plans will be tentative!

Pre-Incarnation: Elise/Fire Emblem Fates

A short blurb about your character's AU: Basically a young rich girl with a difficult home life who deals with her issues via aggressive optimism and persistent smiling. With varying degrees of success.

Instead of a despotic king I'm thinking her father is either a wealthy businessman who got rich on a lot of horribly shady deals and ruthless business practices, or is just straight up involved in organized crime. Can't really decide which is more interesting.

Either way, Elise is his youngest child and has grown up pretty sheltered but also largely neglected. She's not quite as naive as she is in canon, but it's easier to pretend she doesn't notice the things her father is doing. She probably still has older siblings that she looks up to and adores.

Open/Wanted CR: Siblings, friends, teachers (She's about 14 and I'll have to look up where that places her in British school)

Anything else? This is sort of thrown together and very vague so any ideas/suggestions would be extremely helpful.

Walter's 27, so prooobably in an age range she wouldn't interact with much, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't have seen her around? If she's the sort to take up biking or running, it might have happened that way.

He's the shyer sort, though, so unless she shows a special interest in tech/IT she might not ping his radar. >.>

She's the type to try something like that, and then probably quit a week later because it's haaarrd....

But she's pretty friendly so she's probably at least said hi or waved to him as he was biking or running.

Her and Kitty should be friends somehow - they are different ages, but Kitty is also not very looked-after and tends to be out and about a lot on her own, so that could somehow have worked as a way to get them together?

Also another character that I'll app soon, Chad, is the pet dog of a mafia household, so maybe that Family has ties with Elise's father?

She would love to hang out with Kitty. It gives her a chance to be the mature responsible one for once. Well.... more like a chance to pretend she's mature and responsible.

But I hope that poor dog is ready to listen to her confess all her problems and issues in great detail while she gives him pets and treats. And I imagine organized crime is somewhat of a small world, so a connection like that definitely makes sense. She will be absolutely mortified when she finds out the dog can talk.

Hello, fellow sheltered and largely neglected rich kid! Ikshu is a bit older than Elise, but it could be fun to have them hang out, they already have some common ground and he could use some aggressive optimism in his life.

They could definitely hang out. Elise is pretty lonely and she just wants all the friends. And having someone from similar circumstances to sympathize with would be great.
