The All-Purpose CR/Plotting Meme
The meme is open to, as per always, making arrangements with and between:
- Current characters in game.
AND
- Potential characters - any characters you may be planning on apping or reapping (there is a special header for this under the main post).
If you have an app in that has not been processed, please, don't be shy about commenting around for prospective CR and plans on entry - though, of course, remember that plans will be tentative!

For characters of either status, toss up a comment with your character's reincarnated name, pre-incarnated name, canon, and occupation in the subject line. E.x. Pre-Incarnation: Webmind | The WWW Trilogy
Location(s): Most anywhere around Mossgate! He's regulated himself to a point where biking in public is common for him again, though he still has super-fast reflexes to keep track of.
A blurb about them: Just a transman IT Contractor making his way in his old hometown. While his Echoes first led him into something of a breakdown, he's doing much better now - partially because of a certain personality Echo changing how he feels about things, partially because he has a functional social support network in his fellow Numbered.
Open/Wanted CR: MORE FRIENDSHIP. Former clients, maybe? Also he has a sister who he deserves to be surprised by with a visit, since she's currently in London with the rest of her family. ... Also more fellow survivors of the cult he grew up in.
Hooks: Still an avid reader, still biking. Also getting more into activism, in that others are more likely to see him being involved rather than just him helping from the shadows.
Plans/ongoing character plots: During this next season, or possibly the one after, I'll give him one final physical Echo - after which he'll essentially be the Internet. Apart from that, not much!
Anything Else?: He is going to catch on fairly fast to the whole 'the world is repeating itself' bit, given he's already got over a year of perfect memory under his belt, and he is going to hate it.
Jimmy Dupin | Shinichi Kudo | Detective Conan : Student
Pre-Incarnation: Shinichi Kudo, Detective Conan
Location(s): School, the public library, bookstores, out exploring the town
A blurb about them: Student and aspiring mystery writer trying to figure out why the universe is trying to tell him that he should be a detective instead.
And given some of the memories hes echoed back, whether that's something he even wants.
Open/Wanted CR: Friends his age, people willing to talk through echo trauma, responsible adult friends. He may need to figure out a new place to stay when his exchange year ends.
Hooks: Books and writing. As an exchange student from New York he spends a lot of time checking out all the tourism things in the area. Also slowly figuring out that he's actually pretty decent at solving mysteries?
Plans/ongoing character plots: Finally starting to solve cases, which means hes going to have to learn how to deal with the local police. He echoed back his crime related bad luck too, so he should be starting to stumble into local crimes.
Hildred Deering | Ultimo | Karakuri Dōji Ultimo | Beauty Therapist
Pre-Incarnation: Ultimo | Karakuri Dōji Ultimo
Location(s): Lives in Tarwich.
A blurb about them: Hildred (nicknamed Hild) grew up as a middle child in a larger family, and so feels the pressures of that Middle Child Syndrome. Growing up in Mossgate, he thrived in his studies to garner additional attention, but of course always felt like it fell short compared to other family members. He can be manipulative and sarcastic. Sews and wears fashionably noticeable clothing. Beauty therapist.
Open/Wanted CR: Siblings and extended family are exceptionally welcome! People that buy into his crap as well, as he can be quite the manipulator to try and get extra attention. People who call him out on these antics, etc. Fans, potential partners. Honestly, this is just a small sampling and I'm down for just about anything.
Hooks: Makeup, sewing, and fashion shops; the Leisure Centre and Lido in Mossgate. Pet stores are a favourite, because he loves tiny animals. Creates bake sales and makeover events for charity.
(Places where one might meet them, hobbies/activities through which one might know them, things in others that would make the character get into contact, whatever would bring your character and others together!)
Plans/ongoing character plots: So, his bratty personality is mostly temporary. When he gains back his SpiritSphere, he's going to have to become the Ultimate Doji of Good again, and so some personality traits will recede at that point. I'm definitely here for people to notice Hild being "off" and people to call him out on it; maybe even for some people he manipulates to be like, "yea, I'm not buying it." And for someone for him to cling to when he needs the Master/Page relationship; friendship-wise or romantically are both acceptable.

I was thinking one potential hook for Russell and Hild knowing each other is via makeup. Russell's gotten to looking more gaunt than his icons look, thanks to the slow transition into a skeleton, and he's been going through a lot of makeup to downplay it. His early efforts weren't great, thanks to his being more used to stage makeup than day to day stuff, but he's improved somewhat since then. I think people who frequent such shops would've noticed Russell becoming a more frequent sight, and possibly asking him what's up.

But yea! I'd be down for that. Hild could totally notice and twitch asking what on earth happened to him, and then offering to give him a full facial at a discount if it means helping his skin; what happened to your regimen?

Answers would include things like, Oh, just lost some weight, recovering from an illness, and other occasionally contradictory explanations... Accompanied by a little nervous laughter.
Gauntness aside, his skin isn't in terrible condition. The full facial will make as much difference as it does for anyone, but the use of contouring to diminish the shadows in his face is more useful than anything.
(If/when he catches on to Hild having a Number, that would change the whole story, of course.)
